This Thursday evening, from 5:30 to 8:00, the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft is having a reception honoring past and future Artists-in-Residence. This coincides with the opening of a new show in the Artists’ Hall featuring works by last years AIRs. The main gallery featuring the CraftTexas 2008 exhibit (a really wonderful exhibit) will also be open. As you know, our Laura Viada is a current Artist-in-Residence and she says, As most of you know, I’m a current Artist-in-Residence. I’ll have my studio open that evening, as will the other AIRs.
