Jumping Ship in Mid-Life: Felting, Dyeing, Papermaking and Bookbinding

Chad Alice Hagen has been exploring the resist dyeing of hand-felted wool since 1979. She is the author of numerous felting books and her work has appeared on the covers of Surface Design Journal, Fiberarts, and Shuttle, Spindle & Dyepot magazines.

In our October CHH program (October 17, 6:30 pm), Chad will cover a multitude of fun topics including her personal explorations in felting, dyeing, papermaking and bookbinding. She will also introduce us to CHH’s exciting three day workshop exploring resist dyeing hand felted wool and the creation of journals and “works-of-art” brooches.
