Join us NEXT YEAR! The 2011 Annual CHH Sale was held at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, September 15 thru 17th, 2011.

We would like to thank all who attended the sale and bought our beautiful handcrafted items, all who came and enjoyed seeing them, and all the guild members who worked so hard to make the sale a success. Good job, all!

At its annual sale, CHH Guild members offer beautiful and functional hand-woven, hand-spun, hand-felted works of fine craft: fashions, linens, tapestries, baskets, jewelry, baby items, toys, gifts and decorations.

CHH members use the finest materials from silk, wool and cotton to tencel, bamboo, wire and willow.

We blogged about some of the entries for the 2011 sale so check out our blog entries categorized as Sale Items 2011. As we add more they will show up under that link. Many of our weavers are busier weaving than photographing so these items are just a tiny taste of the kinds of things you will see at our sales.

Only CHH members may sell. Our Membership year runs from June through August and you must join in the membership year that covers the sale date. However, you may join now to enjoy the all of the remaining activities of this membership year.

The guild members are certainly busy prior to the sale and their efforts provide something for every buyer!
