Volunteers needed for a make-it-take-it type demo using cardboard looms. Cricket looms warped and ready to be woven on by children and adults (not a make-it-take-it!). Does anyone have a 4-shaft loom they wouldn’t mind weaving on as a demonstrator? That could be something that is demonstrated on by the member only if it’s warped for a project and not just a demo warp. Just think – four hours of almost uninterrupted weaving could get a lot of yardage finished! We would really like to have a couple of spinners there, too, and other weaving relating crafts you would like to bring to demonstrate. Needle felting and basketmaking are just two that come to mind.

Tracy will have a sign-up sheet at the August meeting or you can email Diane that you are ready and willing to be there. They are expecting about 400 visitors; so we can use quite a few volunteers to manage the various demos and projects.

As the event is happening shortly before our sale, it’s an excellent place to pass out sale invitations, guild house cards, CHH info of all kinds.

Thanks for your help!
