This just in from guild member Gerry Woodhouse: I finally finished a “real” piece on the 24 shaft AVL loom.
The first presentable project from the 24 shaft loom is this child sampler which will be a first birthday gift to my nephew’s son… July 7th. It was supposed to be a “baby gift,” heh, heh. So, you will probably not get to see it in person, as I will pack it and send it before the 4th. But I thought I would share a photo… and there’s still more warp on the loom for more of these. Three more nephews’ kids to go…. all girls, so I’ll use some different colors… maybe some different motifs.
