Join us for a fun and exciting three day workshop exploring resist dyeing hand felted wool. AND then learn how to create a fabulous, leather lined wrapped journal out of your resist dyed felts and how to bead and stitch wonderful “works-of-art” brooches as well. Chad Alice Hagen will bring hundreds of strange and exciting resist tools and will teach you how to set up a safe dye kitchen at home while she guides you through nine different dye baths. Class will learn to felt fine Australian needle punch wool batts, design and use a wonderful long stitch binding to create their journals and make a sturdy, one of a kind brooch.
