Class description: In this course, you’ll learn how to design your own fabrics rather than take patterns from books. You’ll learn how to construct and weave a 4-shaft gamp and develop original fabrics from the patterns created from it.
Who: This course is suitable for beginner and intermediate weavers who are already confident about making warps and dressing their own looms.
Requirements: As this course is based on Janet’s book DESIGNING WOVEN FABRICS, each student must have a copy of this book to do the course.
Course Outline: Three, 2-hour Zoom sessions, one week apart.
