Cat Toy Factory

This in from Blaine:

imageWe had our first “cat toy factory” today. A number of people came and helped. Photos start with the raw materials, show people working, Connie (the union-rep) on strike, and some of the finished and partially finished products. We’re going to have another one in July. A lot was accomplished, but the goal is to make 100 by the sale in October, so there’s a lot more work to be done.

  1. They look good. Maybe several more sessions if they take that long to make. My cats have always loved them.

  2. They are adorable. I need to be sure to attend session in July. What’s the best way to find out when it’s scheduled?

    • Joan, I will let Blaine know to put you on his list. And we will announce it on the website. The goal is to use the yardage woven at the rodeo on a popular sale item to make some money for the guild. The cat toys have sold out each year.

  3. Looks like four were completely finished by the end. Yeah! I hope the other three had less of a battle at life than mine did. No more whiskers for me! Ears and tails I will continue to perfect.
