The Contemporary Handweavers of Houston is a weaving and fiber arts community in Houston, TX. We offer classes, volunteer at local arts events, and are dedicated to sharing fiber arts with the greater Houston area.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and donations are tax deductible.
Annual
Fund
Our annual fund supports our guild’s day to day functions including maintaining our facility, our lending library, and other operating expenses. Your support allows us to keep our doors open and continue sharing fiber arts with the greater Houston area.
Education & Outreach
Our education and outreach fund supports our fiber arts classes and educational outreach events. Your support allows us to continue these efforts and more.
Annual Fall Artisan Market
Our annual Fall Artisan Markets are opportunities prepared by and for CHH members for the purpose of promoting the fiber crafts that CHH represents. They are intended to be a unique, exclusive venue for
those specific crafts.
The markets support our members, local Houston-area fiber artists and creatives, who sell their items.
They also support our non-profit fiber arts community, The Contemporary Handweavers of Houston so we
can continue offering fiber art classes and education to the greater Houston area.
