Elements of Stitched Shibori

The term "shibori" encompasses a range of dye resist techniques: stitching, clamping, pole-wrapping. In this class we will concentrate on stitched shibori alone, learning basic stitch patterns in a sampler and branching out into designing with those elements. We will use both the traditional indigo dye bath and
iron-tannin dye baths to add a component of color to our samples.

All materials needed are included.
