The Art League has a wonderful Gallery, exhibit space and teaching space. It is about an hour’s drive from Houston. There are several eateries nearby : Cork Grinders, Roosters, Dirty Bay bistro and the usual mall places: Olive Garden Jason’s Deli, Cheddars, etc.. There are also two tea rooms: Mustard Seed close to the Gallery and about 15 minutes away is Teapot Depot in Highlands which serves lunch only and requires a reservation. See their ads in “Tea in Texas.” Baytown has a Wetlands Center and the Goose Creek Museum is across the street from the Gallery. Make a day of your visit.
