Thread Sense: A Fiber Exhibit
The Art Center of Corpus Christi is delighted to invite all TEXAS FIBER ARTISTS to a call for submissions for Thread Sense. This will provide Texas artists the opportunity to exhibit their work in fiber art techniques. All fiber art forms are eligible. Any art form that uses textiles such as fabric, yarn & natural or synthetic fibers- including fabric painting, embroidery, quilts, and wearable art may be submitted.

2 works- Art Center member $25 or
2 works- non Art Center Member $35
Juror: Lucia LaVilla-Havelin
Lucia has been working in fiber for almost 40 years. Using stitching, beading and various forms of embellishment, LaVilla-Havelin’s work has focused on science, nature and the relationship of humans to the natural work. She has had numerous solo exhibits in Texas and New York state, and her work has been exhibited nationally in invitational and juried shows.
