Susan Fricks – Andean Weavers, Spinners, and Dyers
In December 2019, Susan Fricks had the unique opportunity to visit and study with Andean weavers, spinners and natural dyers in the Sacred Valley region of Peru. During her time there, she experienced life as a local, eating home cooked meals, living in a family setting and traveling to many villages. She will talk about her experiences, what she learned and share examples of beautiful textiles from the region.
Susan is owner of Yarnorama in Paige, TX, a weaving, spinning and knitting shop and learning center.
