Just got the Handwoven Weaving Weekly in my email and they refer to a couple of handy web links. They are addressing yarns (including a little article on Where do Shops Shop) and the relationship between yards per pound and sett. Two links they cited were Interweave’s Master Yarn Chart which charts all the yarns used in Handwoven since 2000!!! and Spin-Off’s Yarn Chart that gives approximate yards per pound for usual knitting weight yarns.
