- 8 shaft-table loom, 50cm/19.7” weaving width
- 2 lease sticks, 2 apron bars
- floor stand (sold separately for new looms)
- bench (sold separately for new looms)
- four reeds: 8 dent, 10 dent, 12 dent, 15 dent (new looms come with the 10 dent only)
- extra heddles installed, so there’s now 100 on each shaft
- a small shuttle and two bobbins
- one pre-prepared warp so you can start winding on the loom right away
As a relatively beginner weaver myself, I can sing the praises of this loom from that perspective. It’s fantastic for learning on. It’s compact and great for an apartment, and with the stand you don’t have to use table space. You can easily warp and weave the 4-shaft patterns, 8-shaft patterns that are in popular introductory weave books, but also do more complex things like doubleweave! It folds up, with a carrying handle on the side so you can take it to workshops. I’m selling this one because I’m moving up to another loom and I need the space.
Please note: this is the “original” 8-shaft Jane. There are newer ones out on the market that are expandable to 16 shafts – this one is not expandable, so be aware of that.
