Introduction to Inkle Weaving: November 22
In this beginner-friendly class, learn how to weave on an inkle loom to create a key chain and strap. This class will cover how to warp the inkle loom, weave on the loom, and finish your weaving.
By the end of the class, students will have woven a keychain (which will still be attached to the loom). Leftover warp can be woven to make a belt or strap.
The inkle loom is a great place to begin to weave bands. It is portable, straightforward to warp, and plain weave structure is easy to learn.
Class fee includes one-month rental of the inkle loom to take home and finish your weaving.
Level: Beginner, NO previous weaving experience is required
Materials Fee: $5 payable to the teacher on the first day of class
