Circular Weaving: December 5

In this 3 hour class students will create a 10 inch round woven wall hanging and learn beginner weaving techniques.  We will cover three stitches: plain weave, soumak and rya knots.  Students will also learn how to create texture with different types of yarn, variations of plain weaving and how to finish a weaving. Each person will receive a weaving needle, a 10 inch warped  hoop and enough yarn/fiber to finish their wall hanging.
