Not Just for Bread Basket
Not Just for Bread Basket is a useful basket that is rectangular. The basket has a solid base and students will learn a new kind of base that I have not taught before. Sides are woven with basic weaving, using two sizes of reed. Students will use a lashed rim to finish the basket. Originally made for bread, this basket can store many different things because of its basic shape.
This finished basket is approximately 18″ x 8″ x 4″.
Materials Fee – $20 should be paid by cash or check at the class, payable to Mary Brown. Students need to bring a bucket and towel.
Time – 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (could run over)
