Gika, Lisa, Connie, Johanna, Barb, and Rene set up a great display at the South Montgomery County Regional Library in honor of Spinning and Weaving Week (for the month of October!). Information on Contemporary Handweavers of Houston is part of the display. They also included an invitation to the annual guild sale – Art for the Home, Body & Soul – which will open on Thursday, October 17 from 7 to 9 pm. The sale continues on Friday, October 18, and Saturday, October 19 from 10 to 5 pm.
It looks like they had a really fun afternoon arranging spinning and weaving tools, fibers and finished items in the library display case.
