Woven Handle Whisk Brooms

Level up your hand (whisk) brooms with a woven handle! Students will learn the basics of plaiting to weave a beautiful twills on the handles of their brooms. Students will go home with at least one complete broom - ambitious students will finish two.

Basic broom-making skills will be reviewed but not taught in detail.

$15 materials fee due to the instructor the day of class. Materials fee includes broom corn, Tampico, nylon reed, and hanging materials.
